In the 1930 census of Madison Township, Jay County, Indiana, I found Betty enumerated in the Norval DeLauter household¹. Her age was 2 years and 11 months. Her father, Norval, was a 25 year old farmer and her mother, Mary, was 21 years old.  A sister, Mary, age 1 year 2 months, was also living in the household.

Norval DeLauter married Mary Olive Wehrly, daughter of Alva Monroe & Emma C. (Yaeger) Wehrly on September 18, 1926 in Jay County, Indiana².  Norval was the son of Otto DeLauter and Pearl May Ehrhart.

This item was part of the loose records of the Farmers Bank of Salamonia, Indiana (Jay County) that I obtained at an auction in 2011.
