Account Ledger : Robert Disher, Farmers Bank of Salamonia, Indiana

Robert Disher, account no. 101; Depositor Account Ledgers, unpaginated; Farmers Bank of Salamonia
Account ledger of Robert Disher, Sheet No. 1 Book 101; November 4, 1929 to June 2, 1931.  Balance $ 0.00.  Father's Name : Ray Disher.

In the 1930 census of Wayne Township, Jay County, Indiana, I found Robert enumerated in the Ray C. Disher household1. His age was 2 years old.  His father, Ray C., was a 26 year old proprietor of a barber shop and his mother, Catherine M., was 26 years old.  Three brothers, Virgil M., age 8, Myron D., age 6, and Forrest R., aged 8 months were also living in the household.  The family was residing at 719 E. Main Street in Portland.

I found a marriage of a Cyrus R. Discher to Catherine M. Adair on December 28, 1920 in Jay County, Indiana2;, which I believe is Robert's parents.  Cyrus R. was a resident of bordering Mercer County, Ohio, his parents were William R. Disher and Katie Emerick.  Catherine's parents were Garrett Adair and Huldah Gaerpait.

This item was part of the loose records of the Farmers Bank of Salamonia, Indiana (Jay County) that I obtained at an auction in 2011.
